Ski rental La Grave
Located at 1,525m in the north of the Hautes-Alpes, between Serre Chevalier and Les 2 Alpes, La Grave-La Meije is considered one of the best freeride resorts in Europe.
Situated close to the legendary Lautaret and Galibier passes, La Grave is famous in fact for off-piste skiing as well as for its natural landscape and for mountaineering.
Divided into three different areas, each with its own special characteristics, this resort offers an unusual skiing experience like no other.
Ski area focus
In the heart of the Ecrins National Park, where La Grave is the regional capital, and away from the more populated ski resorts, the village is classified as one of the most beautiful in France.
The Glaciers de La Meije cable cars have a splendid view of the surrounding area with its typically Savoyard features. They provide transport to La Grave's off-piste ski area whose various "Vallons de La Meije" make this area one of the most renowned among experienced freeriders in Europe.
The village resorts of Villar d'Arène and Chazelet are a great opportunity for skiing between some of the highest passes in the Alps such as the Pic Gaspard (3,881m), the Pavé (3,823m), the Roche Méane (3,728m) and the Pic de la Grande Ruine (3,668m).
Facing the 5th highest peak in France (Pic de la Meije, 3983m) stands the beautiful village of La Grave, a traditional mountain village perched on a rocky outcrop.
With its numerous trails designed for both hiking and snowshoeing, La Grave is the perfect resort to combine freeride skiing and walks in the snowy alpine woods, all in a magnificent mountain setting.
GO Sport Montagne will be delighted to welcome you at its partner store Skiset La Grave.
