For a winter sports holiday, Arc 2000 is the best choice. With its striking architecture, affordable prices, and delightful slopes, the resort is paradise on snow.

Built between 1979 and 1988, the Arc 2000 resort is a little jewel nestled in the Tarentaise valley, on the northern slopes of the Vanoise massif. Along with Arc 1600, Arc 1800 and Arc 1950, it is part of the group of village resorts known as Les Arcs.

Ski area focus

Arc 2000 gives access to the ski area of Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry and more widely to the Paradiski area which links it to several resorts, including La Plagne. Paradiski has 425 kilometres of pistes, allowing everyone to find something to suit their level on one of the 264 pistes available. The area also includes three boardercrosses, two snowparks and a half-pipe (located in La Plagne). Les Arcs is directly linked to these by the Vanoise Express cable car, located at Arc 1950.

The Arc/Peisey-Vallandry domain has 210 kilometres of pistes, of the 425 in the Paradiski area. With 107 slopes, the area is magnificent, not only for its varying types of difficulty, but also its landscapes of plateaus and forests. Every skier or snowboarder will find something to suit them, whether they are beginners or experts. For the little ones, there are beginner's areas, as well as activities and of course ski lessons.

Arc 2000 also offers plenty of other fun activities, such as dog sledding, snowshoeing, paragliding and of course 68 kilometres of cross-country ski trails. You can take refuge in the warmth indoors to try bowling or laser tag. The resort also includes a natural ice rink.

GO Sport Montagne is present at Arc 2000, with our partner store Front de Neige who will warmly welcome you and always at a good price.

Off-ski activities

Arc 2000 is a site of great architectural beauty. Some of the greatest architects and town planners have worked on the resort, such as Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé, as well as the resort specialist Gaston Regairaz who had previously worked on Arc 1600 and Arc 1800, famously with Perriand.

After-ski the resort is very pleasant and warm, and offers all the comforts you desire. One of the many bars will welcome you for a drink or to spend a pleasant evening. You will find many restaurants with their own specialities. The local cuisine is represented and some of the restaurants offer tasty Savoie dishes. For the party people, Arc 2000 has a few clubs, starting with the Folie Douce, located on the slopes, where you can dance the day away. Discos are also open late at night and it is possible to spend the evening in another of the resort's villages thanks to the shuttles provided.

GO Sport Montagne will assist you during your holidays by giving you access to skis that combine comfort and quality. Arc 2000 is the perfect resort to spend memorable moments with family and friends.
