Ski resort Information

Its vast unspoilt northern plateau offers a 360° view of the Belledonne mountain range and enjoys exceptional sunshine all year round. The resort has a pleasant ski area set amidst fir trees. The Arselle plateau is a paradise for Nordic skiing, and the stunning views of the surroundings delight mountain lovers. This year, the Chamrousse Arselle ski area will be open from December to April.


Ski area focus

The resort is directly linked to the Chamrousse ski area. The Alpine ski area has 90km of trails with vertical drops of 850m. 40 hectares of cultivated snow make it possible to return to the resort on skis. There is also a snowpark for all levels, a mini-field reserved for beginners and 3 kindergartens, as well as restaurants on the trails and dedicated night and Nordic skiing areas. Few places enjoy the same exceptional view of the Taillefer mountains, and sportsmen can enjoy themselves on the 40.8km of marked trails, the Nordic boardercross courses, 6 snowshoeing trails, hiking trail, sledding area and pedestrian loop. From the beginner to the experienced skier, everyone can enjoy gliding in ideal conditions. Many fun zones are also available for the curious to practice new techniques, with a special mention for Sunset Park.


Off-ski activities

There's plenty to do besides ski on your holiday to Chamrousse, the resort offers a variety of different activities to keep you entertained. Paragliding, mountain biking and ice diving can be a great way to discover the region. Want to enjoy beautiful walks and better views? Then why not explore the area by dog sledding or snowmobiling. You can even fly over the Alps by helicopter! Calmer activities available in Chamrousse include photography courses, sledging and the opportunity to spend a night in an igloo village, or you can simply relax in one of the three spas. Museum exhibitions and surroundings natural sites can also be enjoyed throughout the year.
