Ski rental Courchevel 1850
Nestled in the beautiful Tarentaise Valley, Courchevel is the perfect place to spend a great holiday with family or friends. It's an explosive mix of glamour, thrills and socialising.
The ski area
Courchevel is one of France's most elegant resorts, nestled in the world's largest ski area. 3 Vallées is a gigantic area with 600 kilometres of slopes. It is aimed at all types of skiers, snowboarders and anyone who likes snow sports. 3 Vallées is formed from a string of resorts: La Tania, Méribel, Les Ménuires, Brides-Les-Bains, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Val Thorens, Orelle and of course Courchevel.
The resort alone represents 150 kilometres of ski slopes. With 96 downhill ski runs, there is something for everyone, from the quiet skiers, those who love the scenery and fresh air, right down to adrenaline junkies. Three kilometres of slopes are lit up at night for skiing under the stars. It's something you can never tire of, as the moonlight on the soft snow as dusk falls is a magnificent sight.
Nearly 66 kilometres of cross-country ski trails are available, making Courchevel a very popular destination for cross-country skiers.
For parents, there are many activities available for children, such as the Western Ski Park, the Family Park, and areas where you can start out at a gentle pace. The resort also has many ski schools.
If you're a daredevil, Courchevel 1850 gives you direct access to the snowpark. For beginners and advanced riders alike, it has everything you need to have fun with rails, kickers and boxes. The border cross course is perfect for competing with your family or friends. A toboggan run, that stays lit until 7.30pm, links Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550.
GO Sport Montagne operates at the Courchevel 1850 resort thanks to our partner store Prend ta luge et tire toi. They will give you a warm and professional welcome and will advise you on the best equipment for your stay.
Courchevel 1850 is the place to be. It's a location that remains affordable, especially with its "ski at any price" package, despite the luxury status it has held for quite some time now. Courchevel 1850 is in fact quite glamorous. The resort, that has been part of the historical monument listings since 1998, is an architectural gem. Thanks to the work of architects Laurent Chappis and Denys Pradelle, the buildings are larger and can accommodate skiers in great comfort. This development, which began in the 1940s, has made Courchevel a "second generation" resort.
Once you're off the slopes, the resort has lots of different restaurants to tempt you. From the more accessible, serving delicious dishes, and other local specialities, to the more expensive gastronomic options, there is something for everyone. Courchevel 1850 is full of bars and other places to relax, or party until the end of the night. There is even a bowling alley and an art gallery. As the five villages are all connected, it is not impossible to go for a walk and spend the evening in another Courchevel. If you want to get rid of those aches and pains and enjoy some relaxation, spas and other relaxation areas are available throughout the resort.
Courchevel 1850 is one of the brightest and most entertaining resorts in Savoie. It is an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends. GO Sport Montagne will help you find quality equipment at an affordable price, so that your stay goes as smoothly as a good pair of skis.
