Once we’ve confirmed your booking, you can then simply visit the GO Sport Montagne store (the one you selected at Step 4) when you’re ready to collect your ski equipment after arriving in La Plagne-Montchavin. Our Montchavin Sports store is easy to find in the centre of the resort.
The skiing area of La Plagne-Montchavin offers 43 kilometres of skiing runs. There are 136 different ski runs, including:

• 74 blue runs
• 34 red runs
• 19 black runs
The resort has earned "Famille Plus" accreditation thanks to the plethora of facilities on hand to accommodate children from as young as six months. As well as many winter sport activities, there are plenty of off-piste activities to choose from at the resort, including sledding, dog sledding, snake-sliding, snowshoeing, fat-biking and more. And there are dedicated spaces to ensure skiers of all abilities can have fun on the slopes:
• 3 years+: a snow garden for children to discover skiing with specialised early childhood instructors.
• Beginners: a space for beginners to find their feet with winter sport activities, enabling you to have fun in a safe environment while learning the techniques of your chosen winter sport (skiing, snowboarding etc).
• Tobogganing: Dedicated tracks are available for sled lovers to slide without fear of crashing into skiers.
After a good day out, you can relax at the Espace Paradisio, an aquatic centre with facilities for swimming, spa treatments, group aquabiking and fitness classes – as well as dedicated spaces for little swimmers.
With a reputation for skiing throughout the world, the La Plagne-Montchavin resort also offers many activities and facilities outside of the ski fields for the whole family to enjoy. These include a cinema, lots of bars, watercolour classes, ice rinks, snowshoe and nordic skiing outings, dog sledding and snowmobiling. La Plagne-Montchavin resort is located in Savoie, in the mountains of the northern alps in the Tarentaise Valley. It directly faces Mont-Blanc, providing an exceptional view. The ski area is spread across 176 kilometres of varying runs, and this makes La Plagne-Montchavin ski resort one of the largest ski resorts in La Plagne.
The resort sits at an elevation of 1250 metres above sea level and the ski area goes up as high as 3250 metres. Originally a hamlet that was deserted in the 1960s, the village of Montchavin was renovated 50 years ago yet retained its authentic Savoyard architecture (a mix of stone and wood).
By car: 30 minutes from Moutiers (28km), 1h20 from Chambéry (105km), 1h40 from Grenoble (135km).
By plane: Chambéry, Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva airports are all within easy reach.
By train: The closest station is Landry and then you can make an easy connection by bus or taxi.
By bus: There are links between Landry station and La Plagne resort, disembark at the Montchavin or Les Coches stop.
