Extending over 1400m to 2800m, Val Cenis offers an unobstructed view of Mont Cenis as well as the Parc de la Vanoise. Visitors are particularly enamoured with the village of Lanslebourg, a warm and welcoming environment to sample the simple joys of the mountains in. Ski area focus

The ski resort of Lanslebourg is connected to the Val Cenis Vanoise ski area. The skiers carve their way down the mountain there on 57 marked trails (12 green, 19 blue, 21 red and 5 black) totaling 125km. With elevations of 1500m, sports enthusiasts can admire breathtaking views of Mont Blanc for their hard work. And this high altitude invites a good covering of snow, supported by 200 snow cannons and 28 lifts for optimum comfort and a return ski to the resort's door. Whatever your level, whatever your practice, you will find your perfect place in Val Cenis ski area. More experienced skiers can go on off-piste adventures when the conditions are good, and beginners can learn and improve at the bottom of the field on broad gentle slopes. Intermediate skiers have many trail options according to their comfort level and desire to improve. There's also a snowpark and boardercross course in the ski area, as well as a timing zone so you can evaluate your speed on the trails! For the little ones there is a 900m toboggan run accessible by cable car, and a Nordic ski area for all ages with 27kms of pistes.
