Ski resort Information

Surrounded by charming villages including Charvet, Charmettoger, Villards and Chantel, the Arc 1800 resort enjoys an exceptional environment and lots of sunshine in the heart of the Alps. Located on the north slope of the Vanoise Tarentaise mountain, Arc 1800 is, as the name suggests, nestled at 1800m of altitude. Pedestrianised, dynamic, festive and sporty, the resort is extremely popular with holiday makers and sliding enthusiasts. This season, the ski area of Les Arcs (Paradiski) is open from December to April.

Ski area focus

Arc 1800 has direct access to the incredible Paradiski ski area. Paradiski is an enormous playground for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts. It extends above 2025m of altitude and offers skiers no less than 425km of pistes, making it one of the largest in Europe! Over 70% of the skiing areas in Paradiski are above 2000m, and there are 425km of trails (12 green, 124 blue, 66 red and 35 black). Whether you are a beginner or seasoned professional, you can evolve at your own pace on Paradiski's 232 trails accessed using the area's 131 ski lifts. There is also a children's playground, toboggan run, action-packed recreation area (including an experiential luge run, fun-filled forest trail and 3800m² aqua-fitness center), gentle slope for youngsters, a "chrono speed" space and much, much more!

Off-ski activities

In case you're not getting enough excitement on the slopes, Why not try speed flying or ice climbing at Arc 1800? You can also enjoy the only Olympic bobsleigh track in France, as well as try snowboarding or ski jeering down the magnificent slopes. For less extreme activities, Arc 1800 offers dogsledding and snowshoe hiking trails. Or you can choose to discover the local history and take advantage of the numerous events arranged by the village (concerts, plays, etc.). There is also a wellness center, ice rink and aqua-fitness center, and plenty of children's entertainment in the form of bubble massages, whirlpools, waterfalls, caves and water games. All while enjoying a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc!
