Offering a wide range of activities, the resort also enjoys privileged access to the vast Paradiski ski area. A family resort with international prestige, La Plagne has gained "Famille Plus" accreditation thanks to its snow gardens, clubs and childcare facilities as well as ski schools: a great advantage for parents and children who enjoy winter sports! Experienced skiers, nervous beginners hesitant and Sunday sportsmen alike will find happiness in La Plagne. The resort is divided into three zones and atmospheres: La Plagne Valley, La Plagne Village and La Plagne Altitude. This year, Paradiski will be open from December to April.

Ski area focus

Accessible from La Plagne Center, Paradiski is the second largest ski area in the world! This immense space, entirely dedicated to the pleasures of skiing, is truly captivating. The ski field embodying all superlatives, it boats 425km of glide spread over 226 trails of all levels. Mild weather conditions practically guarantee snow cover, while 626 snow cannons guarantee optimum conditions over 230 hectares. The ski area of Paradiski connects three ski resorts (Les Arcs, Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne) and 20 villages, and 70% of trails are located at more than 2000m of altitude. There are also 2 equipped glaciers, 2 peaks above 3000m, 153km of cross-country ski trails, 2 snowparks, 5 boardercross courses and 2 halfpipes. From the gentle slopes for beginners and freeriders, from bobsleigh to speedflying and skijoëring, the area is a giant playground for winter sports enthusiasts!

Off-ski activities

Non-skiers need not miss out on all the fun at La Plagne - the resort is full of alternative activities. Walking or snowshoeing enables you to discover the local flora and fauna at leisure, or sign up for a dogsled ride to explore the natural surroundings with minimum effort. The more adventurous can try paragliding, snowmobiling or even heli-skiing. There's fun to be had on the toboggan run, at the skating rink, or during the many festivities proposed by the resort. This year, La Nuit du Pompon Rouge, Les Etoiles du Sport, Yéti Race and Les Echos des Glaciers guided tours will delight young and old alike for unforgettable holiday memories.
