Ski area focus
The resort of Prapoutel connects directly to Les Sept Laux ski area, a significant advantage for skiing enthusiasts wanting to enjoy this huge playground. In total, the ski area has 24 marked trails spread over 120km and with a range in altitude of 1050m. At the top of the estate, the panorama is simply outstanding. In addition to renovating 90% of the resort in the last 10 years, the ski trails have also been reprofiled for maximum comfort and enjoyment, and Les Sept Laux now ranks 2nd in terms of the average age of ski lifts, of which there are 21. The ski area enjoys good snow cover thank to the altitude and snowcannons, and returning on skis to the resort is possible. Experienced skiers can descend the beautiful black slopes on undulating terrain between 2400m and 1350m. Beginners on the other hand can find their feet on the gentle slopes at the bottom of the ski area, or, when feeling adventurous, in the Fun Zone. Fun zones let thrill pioneers and confident beginners alike run wild: snakegliss, freestyle spaces and a quality snowpark (one of the best rated in France). There are also 2 Nordic ski runs at the resort.
Whether you decide to hit the slopes or not, Prapoutel promises a fun-filled holiday for all. Make the most of your winter holiday in the mountains and paraglide over the Isère valley, descend the slopes in tandem or try out the airboard. Or maybe you prefer to rest and take some time to re-focus while on holiday? Then simply relax in one of the wellness centers of Prapoutel and indulge in a spa treatment or two. Many snowshoe walks are also easily accessible from the resort, and the tourist office can help you pick one based on your skill level.
