ACTIVITES AT TIGNES LE LAC

The Espace Killy ski area of ??Tignes-le-lac, stretching over 300 kilometres, lets skiers of all levels enjoy sliding down the slopes, however they please: snowboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing and sledding. Young and old alike will find spaces dedicated to their level and chosen activity. Several snowparks are available for boarders, and recreational areas such as the Gliss'Park let families compete against each other on a track made up of many bumps, banked turns, slaloms and other challenges for guaranteed laughs in the snow.

As well as skiing, the Tignes-le-lac resort is well known for its many classic yet original off-piste activities such as dog sled rides, snowshoeing and botanical walks. The Tignes-le-lac resort is located in Savoie, in the French Alps, very close to the Italian border. The resort is one of five villages forming the municipality of Tignes, which is well known for winter sports. The ski area extends across 300 kilometres and has 154 different ski runs, made up of:

GETTING TO THE RESORT

By car: 1h15 from Albertville, 2h from Grenoble, 3h from Geneva or Lyon.

By plane: Chambéry, Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva airports are all within easy reach.

By train: Get off at Bourg Saint Maurice station (30km) and then take a taxi or bus to the resort.

By bus: There are good connections available between Bourg Saint Maurice and Chambéry stations. Transfers are also possible directly from the Geneva and Lyon airports.
