Ski area focus

Val Thorens is one of the connected resorts of the immense Les 3 Vallées ski area (with Méribel, Mottaret, Brides-les-Bains, La Tania, Saint-Martin de Belleville, Courchevel and Les Ménuires). A real skiing paradise, this magnificent ski area enjoys exceptional snow, technically-interesting trails and off-piste skiing. The ski area of Val Thorens is made up of 150km of pistes (and provides access to the 600km of Les 3 Vallées) spread over a vertical drop of 2000m and featuring 11 green, 29 blue, 29 red and 9 black pistes. New skiers can improve their skill level at Val Thorens on the 70,000m² snowpark, boardercross and slalom stadium. A playful and welcoming safe village is on site to keep children entertained, and if you want to take lessons there is a ski school at your disposal at the foot of the slopes.

Off-ski activities

A range of off-piste activities in Val Thorens helps vary sporting pursuits and activities, and there are many ways for you to spend your leisure time for ultimate relaxation. Escape on a snow mountain bike on snow or snowshoes to discover the surroundings at your own pace. Have fun on the toboggan runs and experience strong emotions on a paragliding flight over the valley. Want to fly but not ready to make the leap? You can ride in the air on the 1300m long zip-line and experience 2 minutes of intense joy between the snow-capped mountains. Fortunately, it is also possible to rest in Val Thorens.
