Ski rental Valmorel
The use of materials such as wood, lauze and stone has been favored, protected and preserved here. Today, Valmorel is a pretty resort made up of chalets, pedestrian streets, small covered passages and nice plots of land for residents and visitors alike. It's not surprising that Valmorel was awarded the title of best family resort in the world in 2014 (for the World Snow Awards!), for its quality accommodation, perfectly maintained gardens and gourmet restaurants. Valmorel is a true paradise for mountain lovers.
Ski area focus
The Valmorel ski area offers many possibilities for novice, intermediate and advanced skiers. A total of 95km is spread across 56 trails and a vertical drop of more than 1000m, serviced by 31 ski lifts. The high altitude ensures good snow cover, and snow cannons fill in any gaps. While the most experienced skiers will descend the black runs or try off-piste skiing with extraordinary views, beginners can improve their level at the bottom of the fields on wide gentle slopes. Valmorel is also home to 20km of Nordic ski trails to let cross-country skiers escape to the top of the mountains and fill up with fresh air. Finally, note that the ski area of Valmorel has 3 snowparks dedicated new sliding techniques.
Whether you decide to hit the slopes or not, the resort of Valmorel promises a fun-filled holiday for all. Airboarding, microlight flights, paragliding, dog sledding and snowshoeing are all possible, but equally so is a spa treatment in one of the resort's many treatment centers. And if you like sports tournaments, you can follow live the Six Nations tournament directly on site or in a bar in Valmorel. Be sure to check the calendar of events the Saint-Valmorel resort organizes during your stay for maximum enjoyment.
